Get into Teaching
Greyfriars is an excellent school in which to begin your teaching career. We are committed to developing staff and supporting them with their progression in the profession. We have two routes into teaching:
OTT SCITT
We are partnered with Oxfordshire Teacher Training and are happy to support staff across a range of different subjects. You could be eligible for a bursary, and you can find more information about this on the DfE website: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-education
Teach First
We also support trainees on the Teach First programme. This route is classroom based and salaried, but is only available in subjects where there is a vacancy.
